We are keen to appoint a teacher of Design and Technology with to join our successful, supportive and forward-looking department. Candidates can be experienced or newly qualified, but the successful candidate will be a motivated and dynamic colleague, with a passion for raising standards and attainment. The successful candidate will be able to teach across the ability and age range, supporting the development of DT to the highest standards for all pupils at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Invigilators

We are keen to recruit Invigilators to help in the smooth and efficient running of our examination system, as well as promoting good exam practice and ensuring all regulations are adhered to.

Experience not essential as full training will be given. Work is mainly centred around key exam periods Nov/April/May/Jun and mock exams at other times of the year. Duties include setting up of exam rooms, distribution and collection of examination items/papers, overseeing candidate's work and despatch of exam papers.

As this is a part-time appointment you will need to be flexible in your working hours but reliable and committed to supporting students at a stressful time

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy HR Team for a HR and Recruitment Officer who will be reporting to the HR Partner. You will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Faculties/Departments to provide accurate and timely recruitment advice and administration in line with procedures and best practices.

Whilst much of the role supports the recruitment process, this is a HR generalist role which will allow for the job holder to be involved in other stages of the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Effective management and delivery of high volume recruitment and selection activity
Offering expert advice and guidance in relation to recruitment best practice,
Produce employment contracts and variation to contracts in line with authorised management requests
 Processing new starters from recruitment to onboarding.
Providing day to day confidential and professional HR Administration services
The successful applicant will:

be flexible and adaptable and willing to perform additional duties as required by the school
have previous HR experience within an education environment
be educated to degree level and ideally hold a HR qualification
Experience of providing high-level HR administrative support in a busy office environment
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate on all levels
Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels internally and externally

GCSE Gujarat Examiner

Start date: April 2025

Hours: Ad hoc

Salary: £25/Student

Contract: Casual  

We are keen to recruit a GCSE Gujarat Examiner.

A GSCE Gujarat (2018 Specification) Examiner marks candidates’ responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, whilst adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures. Most subjects will be marked onscreen using ePEN, which can be done from home. A few subjects are still marked in the traditional method, using paper scripts sent through the post. A high level of subject knowledge is necessary in order to apply the mark scheme. Each examiner will receive an agreed allocation of scripts.

We are seeking someone with abilities:

  • To mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • To ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • To ensure all administration is completed as specified

As this is a part-time (casual) appointment you will need to be flexible in your working hours but reliable and committed to supporting students at a stressful time.
