Excellent A Level Results
Massive congratulations to our Year 12 and 13 students on a fantastic set of exam results. 48% of A2 exams taken resulted in A*-B grades, an increase of 3% on last year’s results, especially impressive given the national picture of lower results.
At Hendon 12% of A2 students gained at least AAB (up 7%) and 10% of students achieved 3 or more A/A* grades – Phenomenal!
We are so proud of our sixth form students and all that they have achieved.
Well done to everyone and best of luck in the future. Do please stay in touch with Hendon School!

Strike Action - Thursday 10th July
As you may be aware, the NUT, UNISON, GMB and UNITE have called for a day of strike action on Thursday 10th July to demonstrate support for their union’s demands relating to pay and pensions. We have been informed by representatives of these unions that a significant number of our staff will be supporting this strike action. The consequences of this action will be as follows:-
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this strike action may cause, but it is a national dispute and not one which is in the school’s hands to resolve.
All Year 11/12/13 Afternoon exams begin at 1pm. Please can students be in school by 12.40 for these.

Hendon School "provides an outstanding education for its students" Ofsted November 2011
Yes, we are an outstanding school!
We have come a long way. Only 4% of schools received an outstanding Ofsted award this year. Our challenge now is to define how we want to grow and develop. Please read our report and work with us on how we move forward as an outstanding school.
We have been inundated with kind phone calls and letters from parents and carers. Thank you. We have much to celebrate, together.
