About the Department:

Ethnic Minority Achievement is important in the Hendon School policy as we are a language college. Over 75 languages are represented by our pupil. We celebrate the diversity of religion and culture this brings with it. Pupils new to English are supported socially and academically.

Lunch-time / after school homework help is available.

About the Course:

  • New to English-Induction course for pupils in early stages of language acquisition.
  • English development course for intermediate learners of English.
  • GCSE curriculum support for successfully completing coursework
  • Adult literacy. Preparation and on-line testing for certificates Level 1 & Level 2

Other Information:

We can organise translators on request for parents.

We encourage community parent groups to form and be involved in the school activities.
